The Gallatin city government is led by an elected Mayor and seven elected Councilmen. The city is divided into five districts, each represented by one councilman. Two additional at-large councilmen are elected city-wide. Each councilman serves a four year term with no term limits. The Mayor is elected every 4 years with no term limits. The next Mayoral election is November, 2014.
