The Hendersonville city government is led by an elected Mayor and twelve elected Aldermen.  The city is divided into six wards, each with two aldermen that are elected on an alternating basis every two years (each alderman has a 4 year term).  The Mayor is elected every 4 years.  The next Mayoral election is November, 2012.
